John G. Kublin, M.D. attended Georgetown University where he received a B.S. degree. His M.D. was earned at the University of Michigan. Following an internship at Providence Hospital in Detroit, he completed an ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic. He served in the U.S. Public Health Service in New Mexico before entering private practice. He is board certified in ophthalmology, and is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Michigan State Medical Society.

Neil R. Winkler, M.D. received his B.S. with high honors from Michigan State University and earned his M.D. degree at the University of Michigan. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic and served four years as a Medical Officer in the U.S. Navy. He is board certified in ophthalmology. Memberships include the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Michigan State Medical Society.

Sean M. Rooney, M.D., Ph.D. graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Space Physics. He earned his M.D., as well as a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics, from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Rooney completed a residency in ophthalmology at the Casey Eye Institute, Oregon Health & Science University, in Portland, Oregon. He is Board Certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
